Great Rosary App
App contains:
- customizable rosaries and other features you can turn on/off (such as sound, Luminous mystery, or Fatima prayer), navigated with an intuitive swipe and easy menu
- pictures corresponding to different decades (and depending on screen orientation)
- automatically select correct set of mysteries based on day, and keep track of progress if you need to close the app
- full prayers text for beginners
- other prayers (e.g. to St Michael, or the Chaplet of Divine Mercy)
Unlike some other rosary apps, this one does not:
- have view of entire rosary
- relatedly, allow you to "jump" to different parts, or simply "one tap" anywhere on screen to advance (it does let you go back one bead at a time, or let you restart however after two swipes back)
- have audio of the prayers
- have scripture cites
- have daily reminders
Hopefully that helps in your selection. I think this is a great, simple-to-navigate and worthwhile rosary, especially for beginners, and I found it to be very worthwhile.
